I have a dish of food to my table, and for those awandering light a fire within to see visions of the new year lit with juniper, cedar and sandalwood. On Samhain our group is usually a private ritual where we remember our beloved dead, give them food and drink, and burn pieces of flash paper on which we wrote what we want get rid of. We also often adopt the myth of "The Goddess in the kingdom of death": http://www.sacred-texts.com/bos/bos351.htm this year I remember my mother, who died in June It will be a very sad occasion ..
