Should I buy the Kindle wireless reading?

I want to buy Kindle for reading something when I go on vacation this year:] but it is also shining like a computer screen cuz that will suck if it is, and how do u charge it? and the wifi does not go online to get new books? or it's like a phone and u can go on facebook and stuff, and is it good? thank you: D

The Kindle uses e-ink technology and the screen is not clear at all, infact it does not light back and you can not read the dark. It is a USB charge cable supplied with it (I think the U.S. versions are also provided with an adapter). But normally a charge lasts about 3-4 weeks so you should not have no worries there. There are two versions of WiFi and 3G version. The WiFi version is not online and can not get online if the presence of a WiFi network. The 3G version can go directly in line like a phone. And yes, there is an experimental browser in the Kindle through which you can surf as limited mobile facebook etc. (Even if it is in black and white) Is it good?
