Kindle help! What comes with it and what should I expect?
I myself will be a Kindle Christmas with my money. Im gonna get WiFi Kindle The cheapest one (Im sad that it's not white though). If you got one, which comes with it in the mail? Does it come with a case or warranty? I went for the 2 year warranty, is it worth it? How do I buy books? Amazon does have to keep my credit card out there because I do not really trust my computer with viruses and things. Please help me as best you can and tell me about the Kindle!
Your Kindle comes in a nice stylish box that contains the Kindle itself, an agreement to connect the USB and wall charger, and an instruction manual (Unfortunately, it does not come with a case, if Amazon and other companies have a ton for sale). I would definitely get the 2 year warranty. With my Kindle 2, one day he just stopped working, and nothing could save her. Fortunately, I had paid for the guarantee, so that a new Kindle was delivered to I tip at no charge. The warranty extension was something I debated long and hard over, and boy am I glad that I finally obtained at the end. If you do not feel comfortable having a credit card connected to your Amazon account, you can pay your Kindle books using gift cards (I like to do this, because having a fixed amount of money on my account to buy ebooks too many). You can buy Amazon gift cards are most grocery pharmacies / (I usually do mine Walgreens) and then apply them to your account by going to My Account> Payment Options> Apply Gift Certificate. Just make sure you know what your balance is, because if you try pass over, Amazon will take money from a credit card without any kind of notification. Enjoy your Kindle!
