I need to be in a coverage area of Wi-Fi to get a book sent to my Kindle the Amazon site online? I plug-in Internet and no Wi-Fi nearby, my Kindle will not receive the book I sent from the site my computer.

Wi-Fi or 3G models with 3G, is the primary distribution method for books purchased for the Kindle. However, it is possible for downloading to a computer, then on your Kindle. To download your Manage Your Kindle purchase and transfer via USB: 1. Visit the Manage Your Kindle (Http://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle). 2. Locate the item you want to download in the "Your Orders" section at bottom of the page. If you have lots of content, you may need to use the Previous and Next options at the bottom to navigate through the entire content. 3. Click on "Deliver to..." Next to the title and select "Transfer via computer" in the list. 4. Save the file your computer when prompted by your web browser. 5. Connect Kindle to your computer with the USB cable. 6. Use the file browser on your computer to drag the file to your Kindle.
