Outfit of the Day #2: Girlie Beach Blue with a Red Kick/Haul Video #1: Victoria's Secret Stuff

re-doing my bedroom! 15 years old girl!?
i want to redo my room. Its a pretty large(ish) room. its all purple now...but im ready for a change. my furniture is white (and im gonna keep it..and not change it..) and my floors are white carpet (also staying the same)
i want it to be a room i can grow in and i wont get sick of. i have a tv..so i want like a little nook for reading and watching tv
also, i dance, so on top of my dresser, i have lots of dance stuff, i also have 2 dance posters, dance mural thing and my pointe shoes hanging on the wall. i dont think i want a dance themed room...but i dont want all of my dance stuff to look scattared and out of place.
i was thinking a solid comforter and light pink walls (maybe 2 colors on the walls? i dont no though...) and i also want a chalkboard thing somewhere (a board painted with chalkboard paint) but i dont no what color...
so if anyone could help me w/ color ideas and what to do that would be great! i can use all the help i can get!
thanks for the help
Blue sounds like the color for you. It goes great with white and it's also calming. That would make it a great place to read, and it would also make the room darker for watching tv. Be careful when painting though, lay down a canvas to avoid getting any paint on the carpet. A white carpet is very vulnerable for stains and even with a lot of work a paint stain may not come out.
As for the comforter, either keep it solid or go for a checkered pattern of the new wall color and the white.
Now, for the chalkboard, there are tons of choices from what i remember. I have seen red, blue, green, and black. I would go with blue if the room were blue obviously.
For the dance stuff, you can get a mantle. Ask your parents to bring you to home depot and you can pick up a shelf for all your dance medals and those shoes.
