can the amazon kindle have pdf's on it?
can the amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device, Wi-Fi, 6" Display, Graphite - Latest have pdf's put ot it? If so anyone know how to put them on?
The current version does read PDFs. You simply connect the Kindle to your computer with the included USB cable and then copy the files to the correct directory.
Personally, I recommend the Nook or Sony Reader over the Kindle unless you plan to buy lots of Kindle books from Amazon. Both of the other readers can read .epub files, which is what the majority of the free files on the internet are. Also, most public libraries are lending ebooks in .epub format.
