magazine subscription with kindle?

i am thinking of buying a kindle but am not going to if my subscription to my magazine would not be able to be downloaded at no cost (ie I already have the subscription and don't want to have to pay for it again if i get the kindle)the same goes for some books i bought and am going to read when i finish my current one. the subscription and the books were purchased through amazon on my fathers account since he does all the online purchases for our family when he can get a good deal for them. so would i need his password to get the books and magazine subscription. if so would i just need it the once. sorry for all the text thanks in advance. :)

No for magazines or books you currently have, you cannot get the Kindle edition for free. It is because what you bought is paper edition, not Kindle edition.

Despite this, I still think it is worth to get the Kindle. The magazine subscription is much cheaper on the Kindle, as you can see here:

I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I've to say I I love it! I think I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!

What I like the most is exactly the text-to-speech function, because it means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I'm tired after work, it is just like listening to someone who is telling you stories...

Other than magainzes, books and newspapers on the Kindle are cheaper than the actual paper version. Amazon also provides quite a lot free or very cheap books. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon just announced a price slash on the Kindle 2 last month. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle... It is really a good chance to get it.

Hope it helps :)
