nook with wifi and 3g
Will there be a nook color with 3g and wifi?
i want the nook color but i also want 3G? is the black and white nook boring, and that bad? Can you get a book from the library without internet? can you download the library book to the nook or, to read it, do you need internet???
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi, Aniken, future models of Nool will color screen could probably have 3G but it's unknown if and when.
You can get the ebook from the library onto your computer and then transfer to Nook via USB cable (you'll need free Adobe Digital Editions software). Wi-Fi means that you need to have access to wireless hotspot - examples would be any Barnes & Noble store that provides free Wi-Fi to Nook's or any Starbucks or any McDonalds or airport or any other place that provides free Wi-Fi service or your home’s wireless router - to download eBooks. Again, it's only needed to download eBooks or browse the Internet. Once you downloaded the eBooks to your device, you don't need Internet connection to read them. Advantages of Nook over other eReaders on the market include the fact that Nook allows to lend books for two weeks to friends or to your other devices that run B&N app (PC, MAC, Android phones, Apple iPhone, iPod and iPad, etc.), that when you walk in with the Nook to B&N store you're allowed to read any available eBook for free while in the store via free provided in the store Wi-Fi, that Nook (unlike Kindle) can be used for library ebooks and for renting text-ebooks. All of it is true for both e-Ink Nook and Nook Color.
