Hi. I am VERY amateur at this, so my question might seem ridiculous. I can't afford Photoshop, plus I don't think I'm at the expertise level to make the best use of Photoshop. So, I downloaded Gimp, and so far I love it. It's exactly what I need.

I have Gimp on my laptop. I was wondering if there was some aparatus that exists that I could hook up to my laptop, sort of like a "pen pad" thing, instead of doing all the modifications with my finger on the mousepad. The pen-type thing that I have in mind would certainly make for better control when modifying the "fine" areas. such as edges and all those little nooks and crannys that sometmes come up.

Am I explaining myself? I refer to this "pen pad" thing because I think that if I were to modify the pictures using a pen-type thing instead of my finger, my final product would be more detail orietned. However, I feel like with a mouse or my finger on my laptop's mouse pad, I mess up too much.
