Can I download my nook books to my computer and then put them on my friend's nook?
I just bought the nook color and want to give my old nook to my friend. Is there anyway I can give her the nook and the books that I've purchased on it? I know that if she gets her own account that it will erase my books on it but is there a way I can download the books onto my computer and then transfer to her nook or is that not possible?
The Nook will reject the books since they are not linked to the same account. You may be able to lend some of the books to your friend, using the Lend Me feature on your Nook.
Also, you can load the books on the old Nook and keep it on your account. It's risky, if your friend decides to run up your credit card, you would be held liable.
