Why does my new 4 gig microSD card only have 243 mb?
I bought a SanDisk 4 gig microSD card for my e-reader. I opened it, put the card into my e-reader and the max space jumped up a whopping 243 mb, only 90 of which were free. Did I get a defective card or do you have to be able to use the larger SD card to hit your 4 gigs? Any suggestions?
I have a nook 3G, by the way. I'm not sure if that will make any difference in it or not.
Hi, Emily, if you got the card on eBay, there's a lot of made in China counterfeit memory cards and USB drives that are usually only 25% of their stated capacity.
