Nookcolor -- Color Nook from Barnes and Noble - Review

Kindle, Sony Reader, The Nook and all the like?
So I actually hate these ereader things (I like the physical book better) but my room is WAY too small for another bookshelf. With a massive guinea pig cage, a hamster, myself, and a dog, it's cramped in here and I need to down size.
Are they any good? I have bad motion sickness (I can't be in a moving vehicle for more than 4 hours, no fair rides, etc etc) so I can't read while I'm in a car. All the shadows and everything make me nauseous, but I read the Kindle doesn't have glares. Fact?
Which is the best? The price isn't a problem, I just don't want anything "uber slim and can fit in your pocket!!!". So yeah, recommendations and reviews anyone?
I agree with Rob. You can get an Ipad for a lot more than the other readers, but you can also get the smaller non-3G version which isn't that expensive.
I bought an Ipad because I wanted an e-reader (I prefer the physical book, but I'm running out of storage space for the books I've collected over 35 years or so), but not one that is dedicated to that alone. With all the apps and surfing you can do on an Ipad, they're the best deal.
I've heard that the Nook has difficulty connecting even in an Barnes and Noble store. And the fact that Amazon was ripping people off with the Kindle before the Nook forced them to lower their price still bugs me. My doctor swears by the Sony, says it's great, but I've never used one. The Nook is really too small for my tastes, about paperback size, and the larger Kindle DX has a prohibitive price for a dedicated reader. Best thing you can do is go play with the ones you have access to. It's really a matter of personal preference.
