Nook For Sale and Review -HD 1080p

Would you buy a used toddler potty?
It cost $40 new. It talks/sings when the child "goes"
It's got a (pretend) flusher and toilet paper roll.
It's been cleaned thoroughly, in every nook and cranny.
I'm having a yard sale next weekend, and I was thinking about selling it for $5 or so. But I didn't want to seem tacky or gross by putting out this potty at my sale.
What do you think and do you think someone would want it?
Thanks.
I would buy a used one if it was a good deal.
I use public restrooms. My child will use public restrooms. It is no big deal.
Amazon's new Kindle 3 is the new product on the ebook reader market, so how does it compare to the popular Nook from Barnes and Noble? What are the differences between the two and which is better? Let's take a close look.
Memory Capacity- The Nook allows for 1,500 books to be stored on the device for it's out-of-the-box standard memory, but it also allows for expanded memory by adding a larger SD card. The Kindle comes standard with a little over double the memory and allows for 3,500 books.
Push Button Vs. Color Touch Screen- The Kindle has always been push button technology, and it's 3rd generation isn't any different. The Nook has a 1" high color touch screen that doubles as a touch keyboard for navigation.
Battery Life- The last feature relates directly to this one. With a color touch screen, the Nook has a considerably shorter one-charge usage time of 10 days with the wireless off, versus the Kindle's 30 day one-charge usage time.
E-Ink Display Screens- Both the Nook and Kindle use "E-Ink" screens that allow for reading in high lighting situations and at extreme angles. Amazon has improved the contrast on this version of the Kindle by 50%.
Size and Weight- The Kindle 3 is just over 3 ounces less than the Nook at 8.5 and 8.7 ounces for the WiFi only and WiFi + 3G models.
WiFi and WiFi + 3G Models- Both companies have released two versions of the 6" reading display ebook readers. The WiFi only models will work in any wireless hotspot, whereas the 3G models work through AT&T 3G wireless service. It should be noted that contracts aren't needed.
Price Drops- Perhaps it is because ebook readers need to differentiate themselves from the iPad, or just a good old-fashioned price war, but both the Nook and Kindle have dramatically dropped their prices for both models compared to this time last year.
Book Availability- Amazon and Barnes and Noble both have a high percentage (over 95%) of the bestsellers available in their ebook stores, as well as 1,000's of free titles that are older public domain books, such as Count of Monte Cristo, or Pride and Prejudice.
Lending Ability- Only the Nook allows for lending of books for up to two weeks to others with the Nook or Nook apps. The lender cannot use the lent material at that time.
The above points show numerous examples of the differences between the new Kindle 3 and Nook.
So Which is the Better Ebook Reader?
Seemingly, Amazon has made every effort with the Kindle 3 to one-up most features of the Nook.
It's lighter, smaller, better contrast, faster, has more memory, works internationally, and to top it off it's cheaper. So if you value those points, then I guess the Kindle 3 is better!
Some will opt for the color/touch navigation screen with the Nook, but I would argue it isn't really necessary and doesn't really help with the reading experience. Not only that, but those features come at the expense of battery capacity and speed of the device.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie $1.86 When Alanis Morissette visited Mother India in 1997, she gained new composure and, in a state of numinous bliss, wrote 17 songs for Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, each suffused with the search for enlightenment and self-knowledge. To the likely dismay of many fans, Morissette now rages at herself. But this long-awaited follow-up to 1995's record-smashing Jagged Little Pill is far from a disap... |

City Of Angels: Music From The Motion Picture $2.87 This soundtrack to City of Angels has a mighty tall order to fill. The film is a remake of Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire, and the German director is known for his effective use of music. But where Wenders can call on his friends such as R.E.M. and Elvis Costello to contribute songs, City of Angels feels more like a marketing device. No less than half the selections are by Warner Bros. artists, incl... |

Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home [VHS] $0.01 Widely considered the best movie in the "classic Trek" series of feature films, Star Trek IV returns to one of the favorite themes of the original TV series--time travel--to bring Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, and Chekov from the 23rd century to present-day San Francisco. In their own time, the Starfleet heroes encounter an alien probe emitting a mysterious message--a message delivered ... |

Star Trek - The Motion Picture [VHS] $0.99 Back when the first Star Trek feature was released in December 1979, the Trek franchise was still relatively modest, consisting of the original TV series, an animated cartoon series from 1973-74, and a burgeoning fan network around the world. Series creator Gene Roddenberry had conceived a second TV series, but after the success of Star Wars the project was upgraded into this lavish feature film,... |
