What can I do when the apt I subletted for a year is filthy?!?
We got the keys yesterday and we discovered an outrageous amount of cat hair in every nook and cranny. It's something that needs to be cleaned by a professional. She gave us 100 bucks so that we can clean up the place but it feels like a slap in the face since it won't cover the cleaning costs and time. As a subletter, what can we do?
Call a professional and get an estimate. Then go back to the LL and show them, tell them you have 100.00 but you need ____blank more money to get the job done. You shouldn't have to work cleaning their apartment for free.
