broken bobbin case on sewing machine?

I am just learning how to sew and bought a brother sewing machine (LS 2125) while trying to remove the bobbin to refill it, the case broke! The two middle section strips (the handle needed to unlock from nook??) came away and one tiny spring came out. It happened so fast I have no idea where any of it goes.
Please help ... thx!
