what is the best inexpensive tablet thats good for reading?
I want a tablet/ereader thats relatively inexpensive that is good for reading books as well as light browsing capabilities. Im pretty easy going and pretty much just an average consumer, it doesnt have to be perfect. I want wifi and have some sort of book app with a touch screen.
The iPad and the Amazon Kindle are your two best options. Though the iPad is expensive, it comes with an MP3 and a Video and Photo viewer plus the iBooks app which is for reading. The Kindle is just a "reader" but a good quality. It has a low brightness level so it is great for outdoor reading. I like the iPad better as you can lower the brightness to make it just like a Kindle outdoors and at night turn the brightness up and read in the dark. The iPad also has a Kindle app if you don't like the iBook app.
