Can I separate eBooks by categories on the Kindle (3)?
I tried creating a folder under "documents" in my Kindle's window, but that didn't seem to do anything.
If it's not clear, I mean things like having a section for romance, a section for comics, a section for reference, etc. I would love to be able to organize this a little better.
Yes. You can create folders. They call them "Collections." You can name them whatever you wish, and then move your eBooks into them.
I've done this, but I organized them as Finished and Classics. The rest just sit on my Home page.
To create new Collections, click on Home, then Menu, then choose Create New Collection. Enter your name for that new Collection.
Then go back to home, highlight your Book, press the right arrow. Select Move to Collection. It will then list your collections. Just pick which one.
