The extended warranty is worth it for the Kindle 2?
The standard warranty lasts only one year and it does not cover in case of breakage. Is it worth spending 50 or so dollars for the extended warranty when new and better eReaders out every year anyway?
For me, I bought the warranty just for safety. This means I can use the device freely without fear of breaking it in two years. For the extra money 65, different people see things differently. For me, it is less than 20% of the cost of the device but it can protect my two years of use daily.
