Can I receive my subsctription New York Times to my Amazon Kindle if I go abroad?

I'm thinking of buying a Kindle from Amazon. The only problem is that I am living outside the United States. Can I use my Kindle to receive my subscription such as the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal? Thank you

Because information is delivered to the Kindle via EVDO (High Speed Cellular Network), you may have problems getting your subscriptions. You do not have to verify the country you're going against the coverage map of who uses Amazon as their supplier. From what I could find their service Whispernet uses Sprint EVDO. Coverage map I could find no evidence of anything outside the continental United States.
