Kindle 3.1 charger wet?
My USB charger and wall adapter was thrown in the pool. A few hours later, the wall charger was connected by my brother, and thus there was a burning smell in the air. I put the charger and USB cable in a Ziploc bag with rice, and I was wondering if there is no hope for them. The adapter I have no hope, but the USB cable is? And for how long should I leave it in the bag?
Let the cable dry for a few days, then try to plug into your USB port on your computer. I hang it off a handle for the two ends point downwards, to drain. I think it will be fine.
