Can I return a Kindle if ...?
I bought one, but then decided I did not need it. I have out of the box, but it still has the plastic cover on it. is registered to my Amazon account. I do not have any books on it but I have not read the user guide on it. it is still basically new. will they accept? I just had today ...
Read their return policy for Kindle. Took two seconds to find it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200144510 essentially if the Kindle is not used (and since you have not even taken the plastic cover off and did nothing with it, but it will take the box and put on, I guess it would be considered not used), you can return it within 30 days of receipt. There is no question that is registered for you. They simply de-register when they get in return.
