Wanting to move to a new Kindle?

Well, I have a Kindle, and I want to upgrade. My money situation now is not great, so I'm willing to put in place, or wait until my B-day (November) or Christmas. I know that the Kindle 2 was a time, and I was wondering if there is 1 March Kindle coming out soon? I do not want the Kindle 2, because the fact there is no SD slot, and is a must for me, because I SD Card 8GB that I had for my camera. Also, I want to splurge for a DX, even if its a lot more, but these are the specifications under Kindle 2 in the (potential Kindle 3?)? Are they planning to come out with an upgrade for that too? Any help appreciated! : D

Kindle DX wireless reading device http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GYWHSQ?ie=UTF8&tag=0610-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002GYWHSQ Review: I have both 1 and Kindle Kindle 2, so I am already committed to the basic idea: reading e-ink in a slim form factor with excellent connectivity to a wide range of books and subscriptions. I learned to rely on my experience Kindle, and it has seriously improved my reading. The DX is not an obvious upgrade for me, but two things put me over the edge: the larger screen, and the native PDF reader. I DX now in my hands, and can report the advantages, disadvantages, and neutral countries: Advantages: - the larger screen is a plus. I use the largest type size of my Kindle 2 (more eyes), and this size of type I get a lot more text per page on the DX. This makes the reading experience more book-like set (And should be a boon for people who buy large print books.) - The screen is also clearer and clearer that my Kindle 2 in a side by side comparison: the text is darker and the contrast is much better, which makes for a better overall visibility. - On a side note, the most widescreen can also read poetry on the Kindle, even at large print sizes. Stimulates the earlier, smaller screen cutting lines, so you lose the sense of purpose when the poet of the line. On the DX, you can see the whole line exactly as the poet meant, with the cut in the right place. - The PDF reader works as advertised and is very convenient. PDF documents are displayed on the DX just like they do on a computer screen. In addition, you can drag and drop your documents directly to the device using the USB cable (or use the email-a fee-If you absolutely must.) The only drawback: at least for the documents I have used so far, I can not adjust the size that I can with documents Kindle natives. Screen rotation - also works as advertised: it works like a lightweight zoom on both graphics and text and compensation little inconvenience unable to resolve the typesize on PDF documents. A nice design touch: the four waterways stick introduced on the Kindle 2 is sensitive to rotation, and moves as expected from the rotation of the screen. - More space is devoted to the device screen, while the white plastic border around the screen seems to have declined, both in general and in relation to the proportion of the screen to plastic 2 on Kindle. I like this (but see below on the keyboard). - Storage: I like the increase in storage space, and does not bother me not the absence of an external storage card. I see some people having problems with it, but only those people who either a) must be regularly through PDF documents totaling more than 3.5 GB of space or b) have nearly 3,500 books regularly at their fingertips. I fall into any category. Cons: - price: it is expensive, as you can tell fairly quickly. If you value the larger, and the native PDF reader, these characteristics may justify the 30% premium you pay for the DX on the Kindle 2. In truth, the DX should cost more than the Kindle 2, and a premium of 30% is not unreasonable. But for my money, Amazon should cut the price on the Kindle 2-300 $ or more, and a charge of $ 400 or less for the DX. Yet I purchased, and it takes at this price. - Front and navigation buttons: all buttons are now on the right side and none on the left. I'm right handed so I should not complain, but I found myself using both sides of the Kindle 2. Lefties are right to complain, I think. - The manipulation of a single hand, I often read while I walk with my Kindle in hand, and something else in my other. Because of the layout of buttons, it will be harder on the DX. - Metal support: I lack the support sticky rubber on my Kindle 1. When I put my Kindle on an inclined surface, it remained in place. Not if 2 my Kindle and now my DX. This is not a specific complaint to the DX, but it is still there. That's all I can see. Overall the positives outweigh the disadvantages for me, and I am satisfied with my purchase. I can now think of using my DX work documents on a regular basis, because the PDF reader. The size of the screen and screen rotation to make the experience more immersive playing together. Overall, the DX feels more like the text and less like device and is close to the stated purpose of the Kindle: for the device to disappear, leaving only the joy of reading.
