Could I buy books from Amazon and put them on the meal?
I am a little confused. Since the Nook will use an SD card, and from the site Web indicates that you can put your own files on it, then I should not be able to buy books from Amazon and put them on my computer then put them on the SD card and then put them on the meal? I just asked because I have several ebooks and want to know if I'll have to buy them B & N again or if I should just be getting a completely different ereader. (I really, really do not want to get a Kindle. I know they did not remove many peoples books readers, but still ...... it just leaves a bad feeling ...)
No. .. In fact Amazon protect their ebooks with DRM if you can not convert to another format. See here for devices that can be used to read ebooks Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http% 3A% 2F% 2Fwww.amazon.com 2Fgp%%% 2Ftagging 2Ftag 2Fkindle%%%%% 2Fforum 3Fie 3DUTF8 26cdForum 3DFx1D7SY3BVSESG%%%%% 26ref_ 3Dcm 255Fcd 255Fef 255Ftft%%% 255Ftp 26cdThread% 3DTxMCLYS5W9INPJ & tag = queryStr-20 & linkCode = UR2 & camp = 1789 & creative = 390957 BTW, the problem of removing ebook is constant, and Amazon has decided to never do it again: http://www.rr.com/news/topic/article/rr/9005/9102358/Amazon_agrees_to_Kindle_suit_settlement Personally, I will still choose the Kindle, because the meal is not a web browser ... You can read here, which is the best review I've ever read about ebook readers: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http% 3A% 2F%%%% 2Fwww.amazon.com 2Freview 2FR3QM7LGL62MZ4X 3Fie%%%% 26ref_ 3DUTF8 3Dcm 255Fcr 255Fperm% 255Frdp% & tag = queryStr-20 & linkCode = UR2 & camp = 1789 & creative = 390957
