Help! I dropped my Amazon Kindle and now the screen is messed up!?
I dropped my kindle just now and my screen is messed up. it isnt cracked, but the screen is grayed out and the upper screen has these wierd patterns. i just got it this month, and i wouldnt want to waste another $250 on another one. Help!
i really dont want to buy a new one and my dad is pissed at me. any way i can get it fixed?
I suggest that you send an email to Kindle Support, or call them. I've had my Kindle 2 for a year, just dropped it, and was very pleased to find extraordinary assistance from Amazon. I have been an excellent customer, ordering lots of books, love my Kindle, and speak well to promote it. Perhaps, that all helps; but, unequivocally, I can say that they exceeded my expectations. I just told them the truth (like I always try do do), even that I dropped it from higher than their drop test, and they were extremely helpful. Give them an email or call, and you may be pleasantly surprised. Good luck. You will love your Kindle. It is a great asset.
