Thick As a Brick $8.91 The follow-up to that FM staple, Aqualung, 1972's Thick as a Brick demonstrated that Ian "Don't call me Jethro" Anderson had so much on his mind that even the previous record's side-long suites would not suffice. The result was an album-length "song" that simultaneously struck my young ears as Tull's finest work to date (and I had them all) and led to my never listening to any of their subsequent ... |

Do you think the Kindle will replace completely REAL-Life Books?
Simple enough question. Do you think the book sales will drop even more? People will not even bother to buy books more real? Personally, as a book-lover myself, Kindle will never replace the real thing. Love the feeling of holding a document filled with book / magazine in my hand and carry it with me. Plus, it's a bit hard to look cool if someone says "Hey, What are you reading? "Then you turn on your Kindle ... no ...
I love my Kindle. I really do. But I think not that it will never replace books, it should not. Can you imagine trying to teach your child to read a Kindle? Or trust a fragile electronic device to one year from 8 to hold school every day? Does not replace the other side of the reading for you and most Kindle owners I know also purchase their favorite book form and e-book. Having said that, I think the days of big chain bookstores is nearing completion. I think they were dying slowly anyway, and now their customers the most prolific are moved to the e-book format. E-retailers like Amazon will be around of course, and I think mom and dad some joints that provide a special feeling or service have a chance to survive. As for the poster above who thinks that most who own a Kindle to read books that buzz-worthy, I can honestly say I did not bought a single book that I consider a book on my Kindle buzz. I have a wide range of things there ranging from books such as Lemony Snicket to Shakespeare. The Most owners I know the Kindle does not light, readers buzz. They are the ones who buy the books several times a month and are constantly reading interests irrespective of their category. I think that IPAD is the device to be covered by light buzz-readers in the world because it is a big player as well want to invest in something like a Kindle.
