Kindle IS something that would make sense for?
Im a high school student and I was thinking about buying a Kindle for when I have read books for my English class. We annotate and it has this feature. Are there any disadvantages to achieve? If there are students high school with one, could you please answer how it helped or hindered your reading for high school?
I'm not a high school student, but I am a college student. I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I must say that I love her! I think I read over 30 books with my Kindle, no problems so far! One reason for why I love my Kindle is that it helped me improve a lot on my effectiveness and use my time. Before I Kindle, the wait time like when I'm waiting for friends or awaiting shuttle or something like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to make the Kindle 2 with me and all my favorite books are inside. Another thing I like most, is the text to speech function, which means I can "read" books without even looking or holding the Kindle. Now I like to use this function even if I'm busy with boring things, say when I'm on the machine or do step housework ... I love reading and at first I missed a little on the feeling of reading books. But now, I like to keep the Kindle, the e-ink seems work very well, it's really like reading books ... Now, I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I do not feel tired ... And I prefer now manage all the books inside the Kindle rather than my shelf never big enough ... And just in case you do not know, Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are less expensive than the actual paper version. Amazon also offers a lot books free or very cheap.
