Portable E-book Reader for PDF?
I have an extensive library on my PC at home most of the books are in PDF format and some are Microsoft Reader. I have something I can carry around to read. Ive read some reviews on the Kindle and Sony readers, but not sure that we I'm looking. I have hundreds of books in PDF format and I would really like to read more comfortably instead of the desktop. I am not looking for a laptop or something with a small screen like a cell phone, you want something the size of a book:) Thank you in advance for anyone who can help you!
Sony ebook readers will read PDF files natively, the Kindle needs to convert (but I I said that it is a simple and painless process). None of the current ebook readers are really good with PDF files, because most PDFs are not designed to play on a small screen. The new Sony responds to PDF screen, which is ~ 3.5x4.5 ", in PDF format to letter are very small. It also has a way of "redistribution" layout, so that the text is larger, and the original formatting has disappeared (which has not matter with novels, but can be annoying with magazines), but it works better with PDF files that others - it depends on how they were first made. I love my Sony because it was easy for me to put PDF files on him, and there is a free program that will remove white edges so they fit on the smallest electronic book reader. I would not have to send them to Amazon and either pay for download, or wait for a return email manually placed on the Kindle. (But some people do not bother me at all.)
