Can I charge my Kindle in Ireland?
I'm leaving for Ireland in 10 days. I want to bring my newly purchased Amazon Kindle, but I will having to load it. I do not have adapters or anything, just the form accompanying dependents. Is there any extra equipment I load my Kindle in Ireland? Also, can you please give a link to anything that should be purchased? Thank you!
You will probably need an adapter to charge your Kindle. If you search Amazon, you can probably find one like that for only $ 10. %%% 20plug http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&index=blended&field-keywords=adapter 20ireland & tag = 20for smtfx1-20 This sheet will also be useful if you plan to charge your laptop, cell phone, or using accessories such as hairdryers or straighteners, etc. You may also want to check if you have the international version of Kindle. The international version will allow you to download books, newspapers, etc., while you're abroad. If you do not have this version, you can still access what you have already downloaded, but you can make lots of new books before leaving the States. Also, if you have one day per week subscription a newspaper / magazine / etc on your Kindle, you can determine whether or not there will be increases to receive these when you are abroad.
