Miss Gone-overseas: A Pillow Book In the sparse, lyrical style of a classic pillow book, Miss Gone-overseas chronicles a wartime life that doesn't focus on guns, bombs or military depredations, but on the pedestrian life of a lower-class Japanese woman as she reflects on the turmoil around her. Set on a lush tropical island during the later part of World War II, the book begins and ends with separations that are also beginnings.Hi... |
My husband and I are the verge of a divorce, we are trying to work things out....?
It was my fault and i know it, I pulled the divorce card out too many times and he got my bluff. We are not doing too well and I want to win his heart back. We did speak to the Chaplin and we are going again next week. The worst part is that he is leaving to Iraq in January. Ive been trying to keep myself together and he is really distant from me. We are overseas so i dont really have friends to talk to. I really really want to work things out and he's not positive. Can you please give me advice on how to re-kindle our marriage?
i think at one in time all of us have said or done things out of anger...you are making the right step in admitting that you've screwed up and by going to talk to someone that shows your husband that you are truly sorry...now you need to take the little bit of time you have left and show him that is worth him coming home after this deployment..i think even while he's deployed you need to continue seeking therapy...to make yourself a better person...
my husband just left about 2 weeks ago and things were pretty rough between us for the past few months but i think with him being gone we'll get closer because we have to learn to communicate our feelings better...and chatting online is the best way for us...you kind of learn to say things in a way that other person to understand them since there are going to be times when the webcam cant pick up your expressions...things will get better...
just remember to have faith and like my mom always tells me "you picked this person to share your life with..make it work"...if you need anything feel free to send me a message...i know how your feeling
