Can you recommend some books about Canada?
I've been studying English for years but most of the time I just read books about computer and news in English.
Recently I immigrated to Canada, and I am wondering that maybe I should read some English books related to this country. In this way, I could know more about it and enlarge my vocabulary also. And I also ordered a Kindle 3 from amazon.
So can you recommend some books if you happened to be a Canadian?
I'm reading a book about the history of Canada - "Canada: a story of challenge". The story is amazing and the English is not that hard. I would prefer something similar.

You must read, "Reflections of a Siamese Twin" by John Ralston Saul. The most in depth and honest history of Canada. If you get through that one, I recommend you research other books dealing with Canada by the same author.
