Is this the final version of the purchase value Kindle for a college student?
I'm heading to university soon and I wondered if the new Kindle was worth buying for school work? I do not really mind about transportation of my books, but I'm having the lecture notes posted online so I can always store them on the Kindle. Is it just a toy? Or is it really worth to buy in your opinion?
I am a college student as well, and I admit that the Kindle, so let me give you some of my opinions. It was a great device, and I must say that I love! I think I read over 30 books with my Kindle, no problems so far! And since the books are Kindle books cheaper than the originals, I think I saved almost $ 120 on buying books already. I had a few textbooks on my Kindle as well, and it does save me a little truck and money. One of the reasons I love my Kindle is that it helped me improve a lot on my effectiveness and use my time. Before my Kindle, the waiting time as when I'm waiting for friends or awaiting shuttle or something like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to bring Kindle with me, and all my favorite books are inside. Another thing I like most is the text to the summary function voice, which means I can "read" books without even considering or looking at the Kindle. Now I want to use this feature when I'm busy to boring things, such as when I'm on the machine or do housework step ... I love reading and I missed the beginning just the feeling of reading books. But now, I like to keep the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work fine, it's really like reading books ... Now, I often read with the Kindle for several hours, but I do not feel tired ... And I now prefer to manage all the books inside Kindle my bookshelf rather than big enough ... And I like doing bookmarking, annotating, searching the dictionary without something more, but a Kindle. It a lot of free books, and many Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are less expensive than the actual paper version. I remember reading these reviews on the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http% 3A% 2F%%%% 2Fwww.amazon.com 2Freview 2FR2DUM7S4XW06QN %% 3Fie 3DUTF8 26ASIN% 3D% 255F% 3DB00154JDAI 26ref 3Dcm%%% 255Fcr 255Fpr 255Fcmt 26nodeID%%% & electronic tag = m = linkCode-20 & camp = 1789 & UR2 & creative = 390957 And here are the millions of free books and a full list of bestselling books for the Kindle, you can check from time to time: http://www.amazon.com/gp/b/?node=2245146011&tag=elec-m-20 http://www.amazon.com/b?node=1286228011&tag=elec-m-20 Last but not least , Amazon has announced new models of Kindle (mine's Kindle 2, and now it is improving the Kindle 3 and priced the same). I said a lot about the new Kindle and model to choose, in another response here: Hope http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100730192050AAMa0pH it helps:)
