are they kindle cover with a slight magnet clip save to use?
My wife has got a kindle for christmas, she is now looking for a cover for it but she isn't sure if it's save to use.
It's the leather covers which opens on the side. it has a metal button/popper so you can keep the cover close. abit like the magnetic buttons/popper on a handbag. I am not sure if the button is one of those magnetic ones.
So if they are, then will this be safe to use with kindle? Just not sure if the magnet will damage the kindle itself or damage the screen on the long run.

I see magnet-closures in use on all sort of cases, including Kindle, smart phones, tablet computers, so I can't believe that there's any problem with them. Typically a varying magnetic field would be needed to adversely affect electronics, and these are small permanent magnets.
That said, the Kindle might not have been out long enough for us to be 100% sure, so I would suggest buying a case from a named, reputable manufacturer. That way you are more likely to be able to claim against them via the small claims court system if the worst happens.
