If you're a Windows user like most people out there that you could be happy after hearing rumors that Microsoft is out with an operating system and that any new operating system promises to solve many problems encountered in Windows Vista, while improving its looks and performance.
Some people remain skeptical about any claim that comes from Microsoft and the people who support their products and their authors simply do not have any as something made by Microsoft and the preferred operating system such as Mac OSX or one of the flavors of many open-source Linux such as Ubuntu. If this is the case, then the look and feel of your operating system is pretty unique in all cases, but what if you are motivated to buy an operating system simply because you like the way it looks? Would you be willing to pay more than $ 300 just to get the look and feel Windows 7 if you were on an earlier version of Windows or even using a Linux distribution?
Some people find these questions to a real paradox, because they like the functionality of the operating system they currently use, they also like the idea of watching a brand new interface that's what the window seven bids. If you're one of those people, you'll be pleased to learn that you can get the look and feel Windows 7, even if you have an older version of Windows, Mac OS or even Linux.
The following are some options you have to change the look and feel of your current operating system:
Using a theme manager
If you're on Windows XP and do not want to upgrade to Windows 7 right now but want to get the look of this new OS, you can use a program called Windows blinds that can change the appearance of each and every program you use to emulate the appearance of another system Operating, Windows 7 in this case. However, it is important to bear in mind that some applications do not play when they are cool if you skinned unusual encounter errors after the installation of such a manager all you have to do is go to settings and create a new exception for the program you are having problems with.
Change the look of your OS manually
If you are someone who likes to do things yourself or do not want to buy and install a theme manager, you can do everything by hand. Simple themes require Use the control panel to update the look of your OS and more complex need a patch to install.
Whatever the path you choose make sure you follow your priorities clear whether it is better for you to achieve better system performance or nice look and feel.

Im having troubles with my kindle?
So I upgraded to mac OSX lion a few days ago. Today i plugged in my kidnle but it didnt register so i deleted the kindle for my mac program and reinstalled it. I plugged it in again and it did link with my computer but a few seconds it automatically ejected(it gave me a warning about how i should eject it in the future though)
I unplugged and replugged and it did the same think except instead of going back to normal, it said it was in USB drive mode but had a little battery with one of those circles and a slash across it and it is now stuck in that and would not powerdown. How do i fix it?
here is a support site for the mac http://www.apple.com/support/ check the kindle on another computer and see if it is okay...
