Amazon Kindle: Did you download eBooks directly to the Kindle?
My brother bought my mother-father-in-law an Amazon Kindle Christmas, and now they want my help to operate it. They are rural and therefore outside the Sprint EVDO network, which is necessary to download content for: air. So my question is can you buy Kindle - Amazon books planned, download them to your PC, and then transfer them to the Kindle via a USB cable or a cable in a box? I have not seen the Kindle or he came to see if there were any instructions or cables included. Just my mother in law called me on the phone asking me to help with any knowledge of the gadget. Maybe Kindle an online support page or in a place to get such information online. My mother-in-thanks for your help. 
I made a quick look around, and I found that the Kindle does come with a USB 2.0 cable. The review I talked to watched converting information that could be downloaded and transferred to Kindle via USB cable. In this spirit, it seems logical that you would be able to download books and transfer and also in the same way. Another option is that the Kindle has an SD card slot, and you might be able to transfer information in this way.
