18-25, are most of your friends and people you've known for a long period, or people you recently met?
The Most of my friends that I have known for at least 4 years, in many cases for more than 10. I've just friends in the years since I'm in college - maybe a couple of knowledge in college, a couple rekindled old friendships, but that's all. Is this normal or most Friends people with new people many times? Have you ever met someone and then they can have the same position of importance, an older friend, or is it always different? How long does it take to get closer to someone? I want to make new friends, but I fear it's a slow process, it's too hard and they are already have too many old friends and not be interested in someone new.
It is difficult to make new friends. Most of my friends now I met in college, then known for about 4.5 years. My friends older we drifted apart, but we still communicate and catch up from time to time. It is a slow process, but sometimes you meet people who really click with you. When you do it fast enough. Other times, you must prove that you are each worthy of trust. I'm 23 years before I met my current friends, I have been friends for a long distance was really hard to live with. My advice, having new friends is like starting a new relationship. You will need to invest time and effort to make sure you communicate with each other and have things in common.
