What is the best mobile solution right now for someone who wants to read and write on the go?
Hi there. I was wondering what you guys thought would be the best mobile solution (i.e. iPad, Windows 7 Phone, Kindle) for a guy that wants to be able to read books and write his own book on the go? I want to be able to just go anywhere and write my book and feel comfortable about it, but I also want to be able to read books, and if possible, do other things like listen to music.
Do any of those devices particularly stand out for the uses I'm describing? Comfortable Mobile Word Processing is the key ingredient for me here followed by the ability to read e-books, and then do other things like games, music, and movies. Thanks
IMO, get a decent keyboard if you are going to write a lot. But you can get Bluetooth keyboards that work with some cellphones, tablets etc.
If you need to read outdoors in the sun you might want an e-reader (electronic ink), which can often also play music. But not, afaik, let you write much - the display is too slow for a normal operating system.
