how does the "location" on a kindle work?
call me stupid but i just dont get it. I am thinking about getting a kindle, but i dont know how it works in terms of page numbers and stuff. I have the kindle software on my iphone and the "location" confuses me, so if someone could please explain how you are supposed to know what page number you are on in the book and stuff, also it doesn't look like it gives you any clue as to how far along you are in the book. If someone with a kindle could please clarify all this for me that would be great.
Think of it as kindle page numbers. They don't match typical page numbers, but they allow you to know where you are.
On the kindle itself there's a bar at the bottom that tells you how far in percentage you are into the book.
