Kindle: How can there be so many new Kindle on eBay during their stay in stock on ...?
Amazon.com ...? I just took a look at eBay and there are at least 80 new Kindle for sale there! I guess I can understand people selling one or two Kindles - They were smart enough to order early and is now reaping the benefits (such as new Kindle will sell for about $ 450.00 and up.) But a seller a * 29 * brand new, unopened, not Kindle sales! How did all these people Kindle multiple resell, when Amazon.com stays out of stock? (Maybe some are fake, but I doubt they all are! And many are sold by sellers who have excellent feedback scores, suggesting they have the real thing.) This just does not make sense to me! What do * you * think? Katherine
Having outbid several auctions, I have been able to buy a Kindle on ebay. He arrived in time for the anniversary of my wife, and all elements of the transaction, configuration and operation went like clockwork. The Ebay seller said they had been on the waiting list and was received the product. I think all these sellers Ebay saw a chance for a big markup (profit for them) and ordered many of Amazon. Each Kindle automatically registered for the buyer's Amazon account. Some eBay sellers think ahead and cancel the registration of their accounts before selling. My seller had not taken this step. I do not know if I could have bought books on the Kindle has saved, I have not tried. Instead of this I called the customer service of Amazon and they gave me through the process of recording on my own.
