Everyone has had problems with a display capability Kindle 2 Amazon?
the upper half of the screen has white spots and horizontal and vertical stripes. Out of the box less than 48 hours has gone wrong while he was sitting on a desk. I was not even there. I went to show a friend and he was screwed. I had privately sent to Vietnam. No way I could never get my investment out of it, what with shipping and customs. ARggh!
If you have purchased from someone, not a shop or an official site, then I would say you are the victim of a scam. Probably someone uses it and he fell. I can not tell you how to remove or remedy because the screen uses a new technology that I do not really know how to use them. Sorry.
