Should I get a Kindle or netbook (first)?

I've been wanting both for a long time. I have a laptop but it's 19" and a pain to lug around.
I've wanted an e-reader for many years and have patiently waited for the Kindle to come down in price. I read ebooks on my Blackberry but it bothers my eyes if I do it too long.
The ones I'm looking at are the same price, and I'm pretty sure I'll buy both eventually. BTW this is part bday money and part saved-up money.

I'll say get the Kindle because it can save you money on buying books, so you can save money much faster to get the netbook eventually. Even if you don't want to spend further on buying books, you can just get some free books for the Kindle to read. There are many valuable books among the free Kindle books for you to choose from.

I remember I read these reviews when I decided to get my Kindle 2:

http://www.speedreaderxreview.com/is-kindle-2-worth-the-price

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Freview%2FR2DUM7S4XW06QN%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ASIN%3DB00154JDAI%26nodeID%3D%26ref%255F%3Dcm%255Fcr%255Fpr%255Fcmt&tag=moreinfo-po-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

And as you know, the Kindle 2 has just dropped in price, so take the chance to get one.

Hope it helps :)
