Book of Jeremiah (from the Bible), confused?
Jeremiah 3:12 "...for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever."
Jeremiah 17:4 "...for you have kindled my anger, and it will burn forever."
@NO change without Jesus : No you did not give me the benefit of the doubt, you said "TROLL FAIL" on that one too. And why are you assuming I am a troll? That is very un Christlike. In fact, it is just plain awful. In your view, is a person only allowed one question about the bible before you write them off? And I looked at the context. In one verse, God says he doesn't hold anger forever, in another, he says is is angry forever. It is a blatant contradiction.

The first part is in 3:12 it says he is merciful but will not hold off forever. 17:4 comes after 3;12. that is when he says he is tired of it and its time for it to end.
