What is the battery life like on these e-books and Kindle as Nook?

I think to get one for use in camping. The idea is that I can load several books on it rather than stuff books several of his books in my backpack and lug their miles in wood. Can I expect to be able to use one to say one or two hours a day for a week without the battery goes flat too fast? In Moreover, the removable batteries so that I can bring a spare battery charged? There is no WiFi where I go. It is not even a cell service. Not that it matters. It just gives me a chuckle to think of all WiFi spanning moose turds.

The battery life on the Kindle is amazing. If you use the WiFi or 3G and the battery life is not nearly as good (probably cut in half), but its website says 3-4 weeks. However, I only charged mine 4 times in 6 months and use it for an hour or two a day, sometimes more. Kindle battery is not removable.
