When I heard them I thought, huh. I do not really understand why would anyone want to read a book on a screen. It makes no sense to me. I love reading a real book. But my ipod touch I saw they had an application on Kindle it free so I thought I would check it out and I ended up buying reading a book and loving it that way. I do not know, I really enjoyed it. What are your thoughts on this? Like it? Hate it?
I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I must say that I love her! I think I read more than 30 books with my Kindle, no problems so far! One suggestion, I recommend reading with the iPod too. The display backlight, so it is like a computer screen and reading for hours hurt our eyes. The Kindle device itself is designed for reading and it will not hurt our eyes, even for long hours of reading. One of the reasons I love my Kindle is that I helped to improve many things on my effectiveness and use my time. Before my Kindle, the wait time like when I'm waiting for friends or awaiting shuttle or something like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to make the Kindle 2 with me and all my favorite books are inside. Another thing I like most is the text to speech function, which means that I can "read" books without even looking or holding the Kindle. Now I want to use this feature when I deal some annoying things, such as when I'm on the machine or do housework step ... I love reading and I missed the beginning just the feeling of reading books. But now, I like to keep the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work fine, it's really like reading books ... Now, I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I do not feel tired ... And I now prefer to manage all the books inside Kindle my bookshelf rather than big enough ... And I like doing bookmarking, annotating, searching the dictionary, with nothing more but a Kindle. There is no bad lot of free books (hint: if you're outside the United States all books have added U.S. $ 2, but when you choose to download on your computer when you visit, the $ 2 will be canceled, and you can copy the books to your Kindle via the USB cable), and many Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are less expensive than the actual paper version.
