Amazon Kindle DX White 2nd Generation Video | Best Buy Kindle for 2011 on Amazon

BarnesandNoble Nook vs. Amazon Kindle2?
ive been wanting an ereader and cant decide between the barnes and noble nook and the amazon kindle 2nd generation. I honestly couldnt care less about the touch screen i mean im only reading a book for crying out loud. I was just wonderin which one be better for me to get. my friend has the kindle and i like it but ppl say the nook is pretty good also. what sould i do?????
Kindle is sure a worth buying. Wireless is a unique feature I will say and that's make really value for money. 3G wireless and global coverage, I personally travel a lot and really worthy for me. You can have any newspaper at any place and also they are cheaper. The best selling value for the Kindle is convenience for the travel, it’s pretty handy and easy to carry anywhere with you. The other important thing matters to me are speedy for downloading books and reading material. Also it allow around average size of 1500 books and reading material to store, so is a significant amount of storage space to bring with you. In one line I can say “you are carrying your book shelf with you”.
Also one of the other feature of Kindle is it’s E-INK screen technology that don’t glare in any light so no strain to eyes and you can read for hours.
Also you save a lot in compare to the actual books, the books on kindle are really cheaper so I have saved a lot till now. Also there are plenty of books on kindle to choose. Also it has so good features such as Text-To-Speech which is really useful when you get bored or doing some other activity.

So, you can no longer live without one of the new Amazon eBook readers. But how do you decide between them? Here we look at the key differences between the second generation model, known as the Kindle 2, and the Kindle DX.
What they have in common
Before we delve into the differences, let's take a closer look at some of the similarities:
• Both models use E-Ink technology. The result is quite unlike a conventional computer screen and much closer to reading printed words on paper. Not only is it easier on the eyes, you can read comfortably outdoors, without the glare problems you get with laptops and notebooks.
• Both readily connect to the Amazon store. So it's a cinch to order a digital book or subscribe to blogs, newspapers and magazine. Once you've set up a subscription, whenever there's any new content, it's automatically uploaded.
• Both have a text highlighting and notation tool. So you can easily mark your favorite passages and keep notes. Handy when you don't happen to have a pencil in your pocket.
• Both feature text-to-speech technology. But don't get too excited as this is a novelty feature at best. In no way does it magically turn your eBook into an audio book, but it's a sign of things to come.
How they differ
There's quite a bit of difference between the two models. In the end it comes down to what you want and how much you're willing to pay.
• The DX has a bigger screen at 9.7" compared to the 2's, which is just 6". If you like to read for hours on end, or if your eyes aren't as good as they once were, this is a big plus.
• The DX can store around 3,500 titles. More than twice the capacity of the 2, which has room for 1,500.
• The DX employs a clever bit of technology that means you can rotate the device and read the text in landscape view.
• As you might expect with so many extra features, the other big difference is the price. The DX sells for $489, whereas the 2 will set you back just $259.
So does the DX get the best Kindle award?
Are these extra features worth the extra money? It really depends how you intend to use your digital reading device.
If you plan to keep your reader at home, build an interactive library and share it with other members of the family, then the DX probably is the one for you.
But if you're always on the move and want to take your reader and collection with you, ready to pull out wherever you are, and don't have a huge budget, then perhaps the 2 is a better option.
Still not sure you've found the best eBook reader?
While you may already be sold on buying a Kindle, don't forget there are plenty more great eBook readers on the market. If you're a Sony fan, you face an even tougher task in making your choice as you have three current models to choose from, and they come in a range of colors.
The main thing to remember is that you need to be clear about your preferences. Think about your reading habits and where you'll be using your eBook reading device. Extra features are all very well, but only if you use them.
What one person considers the best Kindle may be second best to you. In the end, choosing the best eBook reader is a decision only you can make.
