Your Amazon Kindle never need to be replaced?
I am very interested in getting a Kindle 2 (I've never owned an electronic reading device) but I'm worried about how long it lasts. I realize that the Kindle 2 is fairly new, and nobody has probably been long enough to defeat on them, not yet, but what about a Kindle? I heard that once they fail, you have to pay almost full price to replace it, and they often do not last more than a year. If you have a Kindle (one generation) what was your experience been? What do you do with pleasure, and unhappy with?
I know Amazon has 2 years of extended insurance on the Kindle. So if you fear that it will fail, it may be good to get insurance.
