How can I make a fire in my fireplace with fir wood?
This "tree" and not "fire". The wood we could end the season was the tree, and so far things get to the light has not been possible. At present, we use a grid to the wood (which may be the problem, not sure), ignition and put the pieces of paper under the Christmas tree lighting and the newspaper to start it. The problem is that newspapers just will not take. The paper burns, and presto, no more fire. We have already bought a bunch of wood, and we can not return it, then we must burn ..... but we gotta do something bad, right? People light fires fir all the time, so it What's the problem? And please, honest, educated advice on burning this type of wood would be appreciated, rather than a sarcastic "Throwing kerosene on it." Joke honest on issues on a site like this is not funny, it's RUDE ...... sorry just had to do that there. ^ ^;
wood is probably still green, as in just being cut.try for some experienced (wood sec) to do started.maybe split the tree into small pieces, it will also help.
