Has anyone tried Kindle or thought about trying it?
I am thinking about investing in one, but wanted to get feedback. Seems very convenient, books are a little cheaper, etc. But there is something about having the actual book, reading it, carrying it around, and storing it on the shelf when I am done that I really like.
However, I could see the benefits of having everything in one space, getting rid of the bookshelves and the "clutter" of the books. I am worried though too about loosing it or damaging it. If that happens, Im out $350 vs. the few bucks I paid for an actual book.
Looking for feedback on whether you have one or have thought about it.
I can see the convenience of having one, but I am a collector. I am the same way with cds. I still haven't brought myself to buy an ipod.
Also, my friends and I like to pass around books that we recommend.
Plus, a full bookshelf is not only awesome, but you can tell a lot of about a person based on what interests they have.
But like I said, maybe I am just a weirdo collector.
