Is this a pretty good ereader?
the sony prs-300 pocket edition? i really dont tend on spending to much. its selling for 100 bucks right now at walmart. i really dont want all the high tech features. i just want to be able to read
i want to be able to use my library ebook loaner thing. (am i able to do that with this model?)
can i download ebooks from the google books?
is the screen easy to read on?
The PRS-300 is the older version of the Pocket Edition. It is a good choice at the price you will be paying.
It uses epub and PDF as the primary formats, so it will be compatible with many online bookstores (just stay away from Amazon and Nook) and the Sony units are fantastic for using the public library system. In fact, the Sony Reader Store has a direct link into the library system so borrowing a book is just as easy as purchasing one. None of the other e-readers make it that easy. There is also a direct link to Google Books, and once again it is simple to use.

So my suggestion would be to buy the PRS-300.
