Thinking of replacing my books with real ebooks-reviews/suggestions appreciated!?
I am a student (college) and as such, I have many text books. Recently I was wondering about ebooks. Most of my books are ebooks offered at a price much cheaper than the paper / hard return. But I'm too poor to buy a laptop, I was thinking about buying an ebook reader in the place or perhaps I should get a computer laptop instead? What do you think will help me in the long term? I was just wanting a laptop, but the cost ... Hoped suggestions and criticisms on this idea, in general, and suggestions on a product to purchase external websites that link to the site of purchase (s) are appreciated! Leave all the comments that you believe can and will help me even more ideas on how to haggle my text book consumption. (Even the purchase of used books, I ended up spending apprx $ 600-800 per semester. ") Thanks in advance Ouch!
I I am a student and has the Amazon Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions on this subject. I must say that I love! I think I read over 30 books with my Kindle, seedless so far! And I have a number of books on my device and Kindle, and he saved some heavyweights and money. There are many other reasons I love my Kindle. One reason is that it helped me improve a lot on my efficiency and use my time. Before I had a Kindle, the wait time like when I'm waiting for friends or Waiting for the shuttle bus or something like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to be the Kindle 2 with me, and all books my favorites are inside. Another thing I like most is the text to speech function, which means that I can "read" books, without even looking at the detention or the Kindle. Now, I would use this function when I'm busy with boring things, for example when I 'm on step machine or doing housework ... I like reading and at first I did not miss a bit the feeling of reading books. But now I like to keep the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work very well, it's really like reading books ... Now, I often read with the Kindle during several hours but I do not feel tired ... And I now prefer to manage all the books in the Kindle rather than my great enough Shelf ... And I like doing bookmarking, annotating, searching the dictionary without any thing more but a Kindle.
