My card reader (connected to my computer) does not work ...?
I have a 2.0 GB Hard San card. I have pictures and videos on what I need to transfer to my computer ... and I have a slot for it on my computer, but whenever I insert ... nothing happens! It plays the sound that tells you that you have inserted some hardware ... and I can click on the thing in the bottom right corner "Remove Hardware" (It appears as Secure Digital Storage Device). But I do not know how to get photos / video! I do not have a cord to connect the camera to the computer (I had the camera at a garage sale) I looked in "My Computer" and it does not appear there either. someone Can it help?
Once you insert the card into the reader, you should hear a sound. The sound tells you that you have inserted removable storage. Now go to My Computer. A drive letters correspond to the location on your computer. If you double-click it, you should see a folder that may being labeled DCIM and folders in this framework, which will contain your images and video. From here you can select all or part of the images and videos and copy them onto your computer, copy and paste, click and drag, or use the menus.
